Chiropractic Health
It was a weightlifting injury that originally sent me to a chiropractor for care. It was then that I knew what my profession was going to be. I have been a chiropractor since 1991. Chiropractic is excellent at resolving structural issues of the spine and joints of the body. Chiropractic in its unique ways can also address emotional and organ related issues/dysfunctions. Chiropractic’s aim is to restore normal function to the joints by realigning subluxations (minor misalignments of the joints). This in turn allows the body’s own innate intelligence to kick in, allowing it to heal on all levels.
The chiropractic profession is comprised of several treatment techniques to help heal physical, emotional and organic issues. My chiropractic care entails:
Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT)
a very gentle technique based on cranial sacral work.
Neuroemotional Technique (NET)
great for clearing negative emotions and clearing emotional roots for physical and organic dysfunctions.
Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABS)
an adjusting technique with no twisting or turning of the head or spine; based on cranial sacral distortions.
Applied Kinesiology (AK)
involves the art of muscle testing to determine causes and corrections for physical/emotional/organic conditions.
Diversified Adjusting
the art of realigning joints to their proper functional positions.
Acupuncture
certification in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a compliment to chiropractic care. Used to balance the energetic systems of the body aimed at restoring functionality to mind/body/spirit.
The treatment approach for each patient is very individualistic. Treatment may entail one or all of the above treatment possibilities.
